Share deal documents on your terms, and see who reads them.
A virtual data room for fundraising, due diligence, M&A and real estate. Every recipient gets a link with its own rules, and every page they open is recorded.
Developer preview. The data room is built and tested; the workspace opens once production sign-in and private storage are configured.
01 / How a room works
Four steps from upload to follow-up.
01
Create a room
One workspace per deal, organised in folders that mirror your index.
02
Upload documents
PDF, Office, image and text files, virus-scanned and encrypted at rest.
03
Set the rules
A separate link per recipient: password, expiry, allowlist, NDA, downloads.
04
Follow engagement
Opens, pages read and seconds on each page, per viewer.
02 / Features
The controls a deal actually needs.
All featuresNine capabilities, all attached to the link you send. Change one recipient's rules without re-sending anything to the others.
Secure file sharing
One link per recipient, with the rules attached to the link.

The room adapts to the transaction.
A raise data room that stays out of the way
Startup seed and Series A rounds, private equity fund raises and real estate syndications all follow the same pattern: many investors, the same core documents, different levels of access. Give each investor a link, decide what they see, and watch where the interest actually is.
A typical setup
- Upload the deck, model and cap table into one room
- Send a separate link to each investor, with downloads off
- Open the analytics before every follow-up call
Diligence access that matches the stage of the deal
Counterparties need the right documents at the right moment, not the whole archive on day one. Stage access with separate links per phase, require an NDA before anything opens, and see which folders each side is working through.
A typical setup
- Mirror your diligence index as folders
- Gate the room with an NDA and an email allowlist
- Track which sections each reviewer has covered
Investor reporting without the attachment trail
Quarterly letters, financial reports and capital call notices go out as links instead of attachments. Give each LP or investor group its own access, revoke it when a position closes, and confirm who has actually read the notice.
A typical setup
- One room per fund or vehicle
- A link per LP or investor group
- Check read status before the call deadline
Deal rooms for prospects, with the signal attached
Proposals, pricing and security questionnaires are easier to manage in one room per prospect. Share it with the buying committee, capture who opens it, and see which material they spend time on before the next meeting.
A typical setup
- A room per prospect
- Lead capture on the link
- Use time-per-page to prepare the next conversation
04 / Who it's for
For the people running the deal.
05 / Security
Kuartal ID sign-in. Encrypted in transit and at rest.
Your team signs in with Kuartal ID. Traffic is HTTPS only, and stored files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Dealkan is not end-to-end encrypted: the server decrypts a file to show it to someone your link allows.
Enforced on the server
Passwords, expiry, allowlists, NDA gates and download rules are checked before any file is sent.
Honest limits
No web page can stop a phone camera. Watermarks and blur deter and trace; they do not prevent.
06 / Roadmap
Less repetitive work, inside the permissions model.
The full roadmapPermission-aware document assistance we are designing. These are plans, not live AI services.
